More safety through magnets
When it comes to food safety, we take no risks. Now we go one step further in addition to the safety measures in production: until now, the safety measures for the vehicles were the cone sieves. Now we have also equipped our entire fleet with finger magnets with a strength of 10,000 gauss.
Sustainability and environmental protection
Our malthouse consumes an enormous amount of water due to production, cleaning and disinfection after each batch.

Audits with distance
Audits serve the purpose of safety and this topic is accordingly very important to us as a food manufacturer! That’s why, with the start of the Corona era, we immediately looked for ways to have all audits take place and have been offering them remotely.

Our facilities 🏭
Looking at the stats, our malting in Bischheim is a real working horse!💪🏻 It has shared its location with our mill since 1990 and is, in a sense, the big brother of our malthouse in Kirchheimbolanden, which we introduced to you last time. In addition to production and storage, our logistics center is also located in Bischheim.
When it comes to Malt🌾, the malting is a true specialist. Only Pilsner Malt and Wheat Malt are produced here.
Put a lost place, mystical light and a good looking maltbag together and you get a great picture! 🌅
But joking aside. Looking at this photo we just realized, that our current maltbag logo is four years alive now and we are still happy about it! 😊

Our truck drivers 🚛 had a special appointment last Saturday: They went to a driver safety training course!
All of our drivers cover long distances on the highways every year to get our malt from A to B. So on the one hand, such training can’t do any harm. At the same time, it can be a lot of fun. And it was! 😊
